Join us for a talk (or Q&A) about meditation & practice, followed by a 20-minute group meditation. Walk-ins & first-time students welcome! Feel free to bring a meditation cushion, seiza bench, or notebook, but they aren’t necessary.

Why meditate?

Meditating daily is a deeply practical activity that gradually helps you quiet your mind to be more present and focused. It has the potential to improve all other aspects of your life.

We practice a simple, non-religious meditation in the ancient tradition of Shaolin (not New Age) that welcomes all belief systems and backgrounds.

Meditation is the foundation of all our martial arts programs. To still and thus control your own mind is of the utmost importance.
